Where it excels and where it fails

The staff was wonderfully welcoming, and the room amenities, including plenty of tea and coffee, created a cozy atmosphere! ! The cleanliness of the facilities, including the showers, really enhanced the experience.

Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties with parking space, which became a hassle. thin walls led to disturbances from neighboring rooms, disrupting my much-needed sleep.

    great location! but noisy neighbors

The staff were attentive, ensuring all our needs were met without being intrusive. The room was clean and tidy, providing a comfortable base for our stay. It was located right in the heart of the action, making it easy to access various attractions. Free Wi-Fi worked seamlessly, making it easy to catch up on work and stay connected.

Walls felt thin, allowing noise from neighboring rooms to disrupt my sleep.

    cozy room
    netflix on tv
    powerful shower
    small room
    no en suite

I stayed in a cozy double room that was small but very clean. The bed was comfy, and my room had a nice little touch with Netflix on the TV. The shower was nearby and had a powerful flow, which was great. The decor felt homely, creating a nice vibe for relaxing after a long day out. it was a pleasant stay without a lot to complain about.

    comfortably spacious family suite

Recommend it for families seeking a restful getaway

The breakfast was more than just food,, it felt like being served a home-cooked meal and left me craving more. When we arrived, the staff personally showed us our Family Suite, which was spacious and clean,, every little detail felt considered.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but still manageable.

great stay but breakfast not onsite

Just had a cool stay! The room was spotless and comfy, and I loved having a kettle with tea and coffee ready to go. The owners were super nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

The breakfast was homey, with a cozy feel that reminded me of good old-fashioned meals, though a bit more variety wouldn’t hurt. The bar, while closing at 8, did offer a decent selection when it was open, making it a nice pit stop before retreating to your room.

The shower pressure was abysmal. I had to scrape together some lime scale remover for the shower head myself. My room had a stained headboard and the couch was worse — dirty and uncomfortable. The decor felt like it was still caught in the past, with a DIY ceiling job that left much to be desired. If you’re planning on grabbing a late drink, you’re out of luck since the bar closes early and your only option after that is a long trek to Tesco with little takeaway options nearby. Plus, the walls felt like they were made of paper, with noise from neighbors easily seeping through, disrupting my sleep. So if you’re expecting peace and quiet, keep looking.

    noisy environment

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and close to various shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, offering a lovely variety of options, including fresh fruits and cooked items.

The walls were a bit thin, allowing noise from neighboring rooms to disturb my rest.

    upgrade needed

The room I occupied was clean and cozy, with a kettle readily available for making tea. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant environment. I did notice that the shower area could have used an upgrade, as it felt a bit cramped. Still, it was a decent stay overall.

    would love to go back

The room had a comfy bed and a private bathroom with fresh towels and free toiletries. Enjoyed the included electric kettle and hairdryer. There was a seating area with a sofa and flat-screen TV. Loved the organized layout with a wardrobe and desk. The outdoor furniture was a nice touch for relaxing outside.
